Grafik Takes Home Three American Corporate Identity Awards
No commentsGrafik is pleased to announce that we recently received three awards in the American Corporate Identity Call for Entry Competition for our work on the GHT Tenant Interiors brochure, the Volunteers of America 2006 annual report and the Convergent Wealth Advisors brochure.
The American Corporate Identity Competition is a highly respected showcase for the top corporate identities in the United States. An annual design competition, with a corresponding book highlighting the competition winners, American Corporate Identity continues its twenty-four-year legacy as a mainstay for designers who want to keep current with contemporary American design and corporate identity.

Grafik Picks Up Addys
The winners of the 2007 Addy Awards have been chosen, and Grafik is pleased to announce that the judges have recognized our work on the Volunteers of America 2006 annual report and the Convergent Wealth Advisors brochure. With over 841 entries from 75 entrants, including agencies, design and public relations firms, illustrators, photographers, printers and media outlets, we are honored that our work has been highlighted in such a wide spread competition.

Grafik’s Work Earns Nine More Awards
Grafik is pleased to announce that we recently received four awards from the Art Directors Club of Metropolitan Washington’s 58th Annual Show for our work on the Smithsonian Latino Center brand identity, the GHT Tenant Interiors brochure and the ADCMW 57th Annual Show gala invitation and poster.

Grafik.com Receives Silver W3 Award
The Winners of the 2007 W3 Awards have been declared by the International Academy of the Visual Arts, and Grafik is pleased to announce that we have received the Silver Award for grafik.com.
Receiving over 2,700 entries, The W3 Awards honors outstanding Websites, Web Marketing and Web Video created by some of the best interactive agencies, designers and creators worldwide.

Grafik Receives Two MAME Awards
Grafik is pleased to announce that our marketing initiatives for EYA have earned two MAME (Major Achievement in Marketing Excellence) Awards. Grafik received “Best Community Brochure” for work with Arts District Hyattsville and National Park Seminary. The 2007 MAME awards include those involved with the marketing of homes, communities, and rental apartments in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia counties. The awards honor outstanding achievements in sales, marketing, and construction of new homes. In addition, Grafik congratulates EYA for taking home two additional awards that include “Salesperson of the Year” and “Community of the Year.”

Grafik Awarded Contract by Economic Census Bureau
Grafik is pleased to announce that we have recently been awarded a contract by the Economic Census Bureau to develop an advertising and promotional campaign for the upcoming 2007 Economic Census. Over the past year, Grafik has worked closely with the organization to develop a communications strategy geared towards raising awareness and increasing response for the Economic Census, a survey conducted every five years that provides a detailed portrait of the Nation’s economy on both the national and local levels. According to Lance Wain, Vice President of Business Development, “We are excited to keep the momentum going with the Economic Census Bureau and look forward to implementing the strategies we have recommended”.

Grafik to Appear in American Corporate Identity 22 Design Annual
Grafik is pleased to announce that the firm has been selected to appear in American Corporate Identity 22 Design Annual. The awards for Corporate Identity Excellence include AARP’s 2004 Annual Report Package, United Way’s Standards of Excellence Package and Grafik’s own self-promotional brochure. American Corporate Identity is the only annual national competition devoted specifically to the field of corporate identity. These winning entries mark Grafik’s 55th inclusion in the annual since 1995.

Grafik Takes Home 2006 Addy Award
Grafik is thrilled to announce that our redesigned website is the proud winner of a 2006 Addy Award! Competition was tough this year with over 850 entries, making this an even more prestigious win for Grafik. Our work for client McKee Nelson was also honored with a Certificate of Excellence award at this year’s competition.

Judy Kirpich Is Honored with AIGA Fellows Award
Grafik CEO Judy F. Kirpich was recently honored with the prestigious AIGA Fellows Award. Since its inception in 1999, AIGA has presented the Fellows Award to distinguished members of the graphic design industry who have made a significant contribution to raising the standards of excellence in their local design community and within their AIGA chapter.
Nominations for the Fellows Award are highly selective and based on principals that are essential to preserving and growing the design industry; education, writing, leadership, reputation and practice. Ms. Kirpich is only one of two Fellow Award recipients to be honored by the Washington, DC AIGA chapter.
Ms. Kirpich is a Montgomery County resident and a founding partner of Grafik. She has lived and worked in the Washington, DC metropolitan area for years, and is an active member of AIGA Washington, DC chapter.SHARE THIS TAGS:awards, News
